OBJECT / IMAGE

1979

The series includes 3 works: Feather, Stone, and Feather-Stone, taking advantage of the double-exposures technique. It began with one single object existing alone in the space of the real world and the same object is reflected in a film (Feather). For the next work (Stone), the image partly escaped the film and went into the real world (the image slowly became the object). In the final one (Feather - Stone), the image completely escaped from the film to turn into a possible object, but at the same time taking with it its own world - a possible reality different from our daily reality. That world had its own possible logic, where a feather is able to lift a stone. Thus, the photographer used photographic tools to visualize an imagination or a parallel world.
