In the Burning T series, Việt contemplates the fragile, fleeting nature of memory, like embers flickering and fading into the haze of time. Photographs, meant to preserve memories, now are transforming into ethereal, blurred fragments, half-formed and intangible. Việt blurs the images with fire as a conscious act of denial. The girl in the images, anonymous and universal, has her identity consumed by the flames. A meditation on fragmented recollection, this series is a fragile mirage, salvaged yet forever incomplete.
